Cry Worthy Movie Moments

On a scale of 1 (no emotion whatsoever) to 10 (bawling like a newborn baby), I would rate myself around a 6 on how often movies make me cry. And when I do cry it seems pretty random what type of movie causes my tear ducts to leak all over the place. Anything from cartoon movies to comedies can totally make me lose it, assuming the setting is ripe with feelings. With this said, here are ten movie moments that make me cry every single time. These are not in any particular order, other than this is the order they popped into my brain as being cry worthy.

Photo - Yeah, that's a photo of Ellie dressed as the cowardly lion. She really nailed her role.

Cry Baby Moment #1

Movie:
Pride & Prejudice:

Scene:
When Elizabeth tells her dad that she loves Mr. Darcy
and her dad totally loses it and cries with happiness.

Cry Baby Moment #2

Movie:
Mulan

Scene:
When everyone bows to Mulan because she's
awesome and just saved China.

Cry Baby Moment #3

Movie:
Balto

Scene:
When Balto rolls up into town barking, and everyone
starts turning on their lights and are super happy because
the medicine has finally made it.

Cry Baby Moment #4

Movie:
Mona Lisa Smile

Scene:
When the students ride their bikes to follow Katherine's
car after she decides to leave that anti-feminist school.

Cry Baby Moment #5

Movie:
The Notebook

Scene:
I don't think anything more need be said...

Cry Baby Moment #6

Movie:
Up

Scene:
When, after growing old together, Ellie dies and
presumably no one shows up at the funeral but Carl.

Cry Baby Moment #7

Movie:
Return of the King

Scene:
When Mount Doom explodes and everyone cries
because they think Sam and Frodo are dead.

Cry Baby Moment #8

Movie:
Toy Story 3

Scene:
When Andy decides to give his toys to Bonnie, and all the toys
get one last play time before Andy goes to college.

Cry Baby Moment #9

Movie:
Castaway

Scene:
When Chuck loses Wilson to the sea, and he's trying to swim and
save him but can't do so without losing his raft.

Cry Baby Moment #10

Movie:
Rudy

Scene:
When Rudy finally gets to play (because his entire team offers their
spot in order for him to play!) and he makes a sack and is
carried from the field while raising his arm up in the air.
